Remember World Cup 2006? When I skipped my sister’s wedding in Jamaica so I could drink in the streets of Kaiserslautern with 150,000 Americans and Italians? When making new friends was on the tip of everyone’s tongue during the month of June?
This is a money-making venture. Anything that was free last year (like the concerts), is not. I expected to see outdated merchandise from last year re-emerge and my expectations were met.
