Apple to buyout Tivo?

In late day trading, Tivo’s stock is a sappling in a hurricane; prices whip from red to green as volume has just breeched 21 million shares, approximately 10 times its daily volume. With no further buyout news, daytraders dump and prices take a dip. Fifteen minutes later, Tivo is up again. The battle between the speculators and long term buyers have ignited a firestorm on Yahoo’s Finance message board. Will there be a short squeeze tomorrow? It certainly happened today. I don’t think anyone is insane enough to short this stock. It will all come out in the wash on Merger Monday.
